hi i been in the weight wise in Edmonton i Live 10 hours away. I'm not sure what wls to have
lap band or vsg Has anyone had the vsg in Edmonton and would like to share

Take a look at the surgical forums for each of the procedures (VSG is at the bottom of the list).  They will really help you decide which one to choose.  I personally am going to do the VSG because I like the idea of its permamence and that I don't have to deal with fills. 

I had my VSG in Mexico on Feb 18th. I have lost a total of 40lbs since surgery for a total of 55lbs. I love my sleeve.
Where do you live? If you live 10hrs away the VSG would be a good choice because it's so low maintance! How much weight do you have to lose? 
For myself I would never get the band...I spoke to 3 people while in Mexico that were having their bands removed and getting the VSG.
