Waiting

So I was referred to the WW in 2005.  It took 2 years to get anywhere and then they shut the program down fro restructuring.  Back i started last year going to the clinic and still i cannot get to a surgeon.  To say i am frustrated would be an understament.  I have taken all the classes gone to every appointment and kept my journals up yet still nothing.  I am quite sure that I will be jumping the line and paying for it.

WoW! Thats pretty harsh coming from someone who's NEVER met me,
or talked to me, other than to call me names. And especially considering
chances are you wouldnt be fitting under that rock, either. So... sticks 
& stones, FyernRain. Sticks & stones.  
And as to the HUNDREDS of people who have had the RNY surgery,
Im certain that there are; just NOT anyone involved in the Weight
Wise program. And what about poor tcerhit? He/she has been in the
program for over 2 years.....I wonder how much more he'll have to go
through before he gets his chance???? If that ever happens at all.
Seems to me you got very lucky, though I wouldnt go thinking Im too
special. Most likely they just pulled your name out of a hat. In any
case, despite the fact that you're probably one of the RUDEST, and
most IGNORANT people Ive ever ran into on this site, I wish you 
all the best. 

 

Harsh yes...but someone who puts down a program because they didn't get their way and didn't stick around long enough to really find out what it's all about, isn't right either. Everyone who enters into the WW program knows the time, effort and care the TEAM of experts five from the program . It's committment...something I don't think you know about.

Obesity is not just a small cut you can just put a bandaid on.....you should know that by now! It takes a lot of work and effort on your part also to heal every part of your body, not just the physical part.

LIke I said, you want a quick surgery, go to Mexico....but good luck with your after care!

And btw, reading all your messages, I have come to realize you are the RUDEST and most IGNORANT person. Ignorant because you haven't done all your homework about  the program....rudest because not once have you congratulated people who are in the program and finding success with it!  And the little comments you made about the ones that are successful were SARCASTIC remarks.

That's uncalled for. Obesity Help is a place where we can get away from name calling and meaness. Not cool.

True!  But I won't appologize for it....we are all in the same boat....and yes the waiting times are long....the program can be crazy at times, but for the most part, it's our committment to getting well that is important.

When someone comes in and starts putting down a program that is geared to help the obese, I have issues with it.

Sorry if I have offended anybody in here....but the truth hurts!
