lap band - is it covered?

I had a conversation with a friend the other day and she mentioned that lapband was covered by AB Health - is that true?  Not that I am doubting her (well maybe a little) because it's not covered in MB so just curious.

As far as I know it is covered, hopefully someone who has had the surgery will answer you.
