New WLS Clinic opening in Edmonton

Hello all, my name is Cindy. I have exciting news. I am a revision patient of Dr. Davey. My story is long and I have been through my journey for almost 14 yrs now. I was in to see my dietician at the Royal Alex yesterday (maintenance) and she tells me that a new Revision Clinic will soon be opening at the Hosp. It will be run through the Outpatients Dept and Drs Birch and Karmali will be running it. I am excited for all those that have had a failed WLS, as I did. I did have my revision to RNY (almost 2 yrs ago) and am where I want to be and have just finished plastics also. I wish this would have happened sooner, however, it tells me there is a real need for people that have had failed WLS. My dietician also says the revisions will be mainly for failed VBG and lap-band conversions.
