Liquid diet - Pre-op tests - questions

Hello all

I have surgery scheduled for March 16th and I was wondering if any of you can share what type of Pre-op tests you had to go through and how soon to surgery did you do them and also, did your doctor put you on a liquid diet? and for how long? and how did you the the information?

I just scheduled my surgery for the 16th of March as well. My pre-op will be blood work, chest xray, stomach ultrasound, and ekg. I am doing all of this on Thursday, and I start my liquid diet on 3/2. It is two weeks prior to my surgery date.

It's been almost 3 years since my surgery with Dr. Nohr so I honestly can't remember a lot about what went on pre-op, hehehehe!!

I just wanted to post to let you know that I'm not often here at OH anymore but feel free to e-mail me if you like and I'll try to answer specific questions you might have ...

I started at 220 lbs and now happily maintain at 130 lbs  :-)
