Haven't seen him but just wondering, how long have you been waiting to see him?

First refered to him in 2001. Heard from him in 2004 to book appointment for Jan.2008.

Oh my gosh - that must have been a loooong 7-6 years for you!  I have only been waiting 3 months with my referral to Dr. Starr and I am going crazy.  LOL

had my surgery jan 26 2009...i had a gastric bypass....i havenot had any complications, still unable to eat lots of variety of foods...but down 30 lbs in 5 weeks

Question... How long after the consultation until the surgery? My consultation is in November on this year...

 my doctor has recommended dr Norh. he says he is the very best ,. can someone tell me how scarey is it and what  can u eat afterwards?
do you have to eat only liquid?

I had my Laproscopic RNY Bypass with Dr Nohr, September 2008. I have 25 lbs to goal and have already lost 115lbs. Dr Nohr is great. I had nothing but positive experiences with him and my entire journey. Most new patients comment on his lack of bedside manner...but he just takes a little warming upto. As far as competence goes though, he is top notch and knows exactly what he's doing. This post is a bit late, but if ur having any post surgery concerns I would love to talk.
