Hiatus Hernia

I have a large hernia and I am suffering so much with it. Vomiting daily with almost everything I eat, even soups. I am on Prevacid which helps with the reflux & heartburn but this is running me down. Waiting to here about WLS & hernia fix in Edmonton. Has anyone had both surgeries at the same time and was it done lap or open. I am actually looking at a revision from a gastric band.
