HELP ME PLEASE: Reflux cough with band

Hello, I have been banded for 2 years now. Before I had the band, I was having trouble with reflux or Gerd. After the band I still have it. In the States they band people with bad reflux as this helps them. Not me. I still cough at night as I feel the trickle come up my throat. Has anyone had the same problem as me and if so what have you done to resolve it. I sleep on a wedge and use another pillow. I am also trying hard to change my diet to eat low low fat, non spicy, no tomatoes or garlic etc. etc. I also have tried several (8) different types of meds. Nothing is satisfactory. I've been coughing now for about 4 years and I'm tired of it. I even sleep in a different room than my husband some nights. I do sleep on my left side now also. Thank you for helping if you can.
