Surgery delays.....

Can anybody tell me if there are any surgery delays for the Bariatric Clinic at the Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton?

Yes I've heard that there are - they are having problems with OR rooms and also a nursing shortage from what I hear.

I met you at the November meeting at the Alex I am due to see an internist on the 22 of this month, I still don't know if that means an appointment with a surgeon is next. Everybody I know has had the operation....nobody seems to be in the same situation as I am.....I have been seeing the dietician for 5 months now, and this month the internist. Thanks Carolyn
