Need Pre appointment info.

I thought i already posted this but it didn't show up yet. I have an appointement with Dr Farries on December 13th and I was wondering what to expect. What type of questions does he ask? Just because I have this appointment does it forsure mean I get the sugery done? Any info would be greatly appreciated.thx

hi he basicallly asks a detail history of your family and your selfs current history, looking for ur current weigth, and chronic dieases(diabetes, cva, stoke, sleep apnea) life style and what types of things you have tryed in the past to lose the weight. he tell you about the 2 types of procedures he preforms and suggests which he feel is suited for you. then after you decide he goes over the ground rule and expectations he has for you. hope this has been use full, i am current patient of dr farries as well i just started in oct/07 so if you wanna go back and forth that would be great julie

Thank you so much for responding. So you just went to see him in October? Did he seem nice? Did he set up a surgery date yet? How detailed of info is he looking for in regards to what we have tried to lose weight? Are you in Calgary?

sorry i didnt get back to u, yes is is really freindly but u prob already seen that when u meet him, so how did ur appointment go? i live in north battleford saskatchewan. when i see himin jan and if i have lost the total amount weight he asked me to lose then we will talk surgery date! so we will see. hope all went well for you julie
