Hi Ramone and Rhonda, just wondering if you're still on the board and how everything is going. I'm losing slowly after only one fill, can't eat very much, especially in the morning so I just have liquids until around 2:00. After that I can eat normal band amounts. How are you doing? Take care. Hi Betty, I'm doing OK. I had my 2nd fill Sept. 25th (I lost about 12lbs between them) and that one has definitely made a difference. I have 4cc in my 10cc band now (3cc 1st one, 1cc 2nd) and portion wise I can probably do a cup, etc. I have to be very careful on the 1st few bites because I had been getting stuck often (nothing major... just a friendly reminder from the band who is boss...), so I'm slowly learning. My next fill is scheduled for Nov. 1st so we'll see how things go there. Rhonda - Hope everything is going well? Omar

Lap Band on 06/29/07 with
Hi Betty and Ramone, My band finally loosened up the second week of Sept. I was getting so frustrated with not being to eat anything without pain. And then poof, the band relaxed or my stomach finally went down after the surgery. I don't know. I still have restriction, but now I can eat my meal slowly and not be in agony. I have lost 49 pounds and have plateaued there. Which is ok for me. I lost my weight so quickly from not being able to eat that I need a bit of time to catch up with it all. I still have some weight to lose. You can check out my pictures on my profile. My name is Rhonda Kirtzinger. Glad to hear you are both doing well. Talk to you soon. Rhonda
