I am home now 2 weeks and post-op 2 weeks on monday. I started mushies & had my first scare with the drier food. I thought I was eating slow but i guess not, It felt like a big ball sitting inmy stomach for most of the day. I have a bit of a cough & heaviness in my chest not sure if a cold or part of the aenastetics. I will give it another week & then see my doctor. My doctor is just as excited as I am about my band "I am his first bandster" . He's been my doc for 25 years so he's a good part of my support. I am only at 18lbs so far but I'm still healing. How are things going for you have you had a fill yet. I am very nerveous about that. Take care Penny

Hi Penny, I've been thinking about you and wondering how it all went. So glad to hear you're doing well. 18 lbs is great for so short a time. I've lost about 23 so far and I get hungry every couple of hours so I'm pretty sure I need a fill. I'm booked for one on Aug 23, next Thursday. I'll let you know how it goes. Where will you get your fills?I'm hoping for a good fill, since they cost 125 a shot. Take care of yourself and talk to you soon. Betty

I also feel hungery quite often & am afraid to gain back my lose. I will get a fill in saskatoon, there is a nurse who is charging $50.00 and does it in her home. Others who have been say it is very clean & she is very flexible. If there is too much or not enough she will adjust at no charge. I will be making an appointment for Sept 14th I hope I just e-mailed her. Dr. Kuri is coming to Saskatoon on Sept 22nd to do a seminar of some sort and talking to people, I will be going for sure.... Hope your fill goes good let me know how you do afterwards. Penny
