How long after Nohr consult for surgery

I see Dr. Nohr on September 4, and was just wondering if any Nohr patients can tell me aproximately how long they waited for their surgery. I will also be having my gallbladder out at the same time as I have been having troubles with it lately.....Any other advise would also be LOVED....Thanks Angie

Hi , I had my consult Jan/07 & am scheduled for surgery Nov. 26/07.

I have been scheduled for my surgery in march as well. What day is yours on? Mine is the 31st. Maybe we will see eachother there!!

But to get the consultation, how long did everyone wait? I think the wait times are just as long as they are in Edmonton.

Hi Angie, My name is Renee Higa. I heard about Dr. Nohr through a friend of mine. My doctor referred me to him as well. The clinic booking nurse set up my appointment in 2005 and my initial consultation was set for February 2008. My friend gave me Dr. Nohr's office number, and she told me to ask if their were any cancellations for consultations. I did so, and my appointment for a consultation came real soon afterwards - December 20, 2005. Dr. Nohr set my appoinment for eight months following the consultation - October 16, 2006. Everything happened so fast. I am now 95lbs lighter and holding for the past five months - I am also five months pregnant. Things are going very well for me. I am sure that you will not have to wait too long, probably a year or less. I started to prepare myself right after my consultation - I started to see a therapist, because I knew that I would have to mentally prepare as well. The time goes by fast, and this is your time to prepare anyway possible for your new life. Take care.

Hi there, It took about 6 months for me to see him (from the time my family doctor submitted the referral paperwork) ... I saw him Sept. 05 and had my surgery May 06 ... so altogether I waited about a year ... now it's more than a year later and I've lost 97 lbs so I'm definitely happy LOL! Hope that helps, Leanne
