Reviews from Medicine Hat or Calgary

Hello, I am wondering if anyone out there has any comments on surgeons from Medicine Hat or Calgary. My Dr. is send a referal to both. Any information, besides the long wait time would be appreciated. Thanks. Lori

Dr. Nohr is a very good surgeon so I hear, from MANY people. The wait time however I think is CRAZY.. I am waiting for a consult my date is November 2009. So ya just to conferm that it is a long wait...Dr. Nohr only does the gastric bypass not the band. He has also just started doing a few laproscopically as well but says he will do far more open then lap. due to time in the surgical suite. Good Luck Angie

I just had surgery at the end of June, so am only 6 weeks into this! I had surgery in Medicine Hat. Dr Nohr is fantastic. He keeps you informed every step of the way and his staff are 1st class. I have lost 66lb so far though it is starting to slow down now. I am extremely glad I had it done by Dr Nohr, it was well worth the wait. I waited nearly 3 yrs for an appointment then a further 6 months for surgery. Though the wait was long i would do it all over again!
