First Encounter / Battle of the Bulge....

HI Brenda , my name is Edith and like you I want to be close to the doctor if anything goes wrong , so I will wait. I see Dr DeCoteaux in Calgary this Friday to get started. myu only worry right now is that I won't be able to stick to the very restrictive diet you have to follow after the surgery. from what I've heard it is really restricted and there are so many foods you will never be able to eat again.

Hi Edith I am not too worried about my eating patterns and what I can or can't eat after I have my surgery. I think once you see the weight loss and the way you will look it will be worth it. Food doesn't control me...I control food.....that's what I am going to try and remember. Brenda PS...yes we may have to give up some foods, but with SOOOO many other choices out there and more and more new things to suppliment our cravings with, it shouldn't be hard (hoping) lol
