Stopping to say Hi

Hi Chrissy - I'm a Dr. Birch/Davey patient from Edmonton. You've received some good info from others here. Just get referrals into all the doctors that you are interested in and see what happens. If your doctor doesn't want to refer you advise sometimes its because they think that referrring you they are saying you are a good candidate for surgery. This is not the case I know Dr. Birch and Davey decide that themselves and I'm pretty sure the others would as well. This is just a referral so they will see you. I think there is a referral form for Davey/Birch on the Capital Health website. As someone else said if you doc won't do it then find someone that will. We wait long and hard and ponder this question alot so once we've made the decision we shouldn't be stopped. Good luck Carolyn
