My surgery is also 12/4. I'm in Louisiana. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. Very excited.
I just joined the group. I am hoping for a December date as I have been approved by insurance, just waiting on a call from the doctor office to schedule.

1st Goal - 178.5 lbs (25%) 2nd Goal - 159.0 lbs (50%) 3rd Goal - 135.6 lbs (80%) 4th Goal - 120.0 lbs (100%)
I am scheduled for the 18th as well and will be taking off 11 work days off ( admin. asst.) Good luck to you!
You can also get to the group from the main page when you click on "Groups" under "Community". At the moment we are listed at the bottom right of that main page, under "Newest Groups". There should be a "JOIN button right next to the name of our group: "December, 2013 RNY Buddies".

The group is set up and is named "December, 2013 RUNY Buddies"(also open to those having the procedure late November or early January).

There should be a join button once you get open the group. If not, let me know. The only people I can invite directly are people on my friends' list. I can also invite people by email address. Other than that it's an open group and everyone should be able to join themselves.
I'm driving home from Mayo in Jacksonville today. I'll try to make sure everyone who wants to join is able to when I get home.

Wow - how are you going do ALL that after surgery? I'm taking 17 days off (teacher), and not doing one darn thing except sit in my recliner and have the BF wait on me hand and foot!
