December 18th!!

Diane - I'm not nervous yet.  I just had another round of pre-op appts at Mayo today.  I only have the nutrition workshop and meeting with the pharmacologist on 12/10 left.  Everyone there is so nice and they are so organized. 

You are going to have a VERY busy week!!

Hi Dukemom,  I just got word that I am approved for Dec 18.  I'm in SWFL and am getting sleeved on Dec 18.  I'm excited but nervous and am starting to have second thoughts.  Start the liquid diet on Dec 11.  Lost 22 lbs in the last 2-months doing the high protein low carb low fat diet.  Just rambling cause I'm nervous.

We have a lot of people with dates 12/16-12/18!

I think some nerves are to be expected.  Think of it like a wedding:  you are excited and want to do it, but it's a huge step and your life is going to change quite a bit.  However, instead of getting the toilet seat always in the up position, you get a healthy new you!!

Where in SWFL do you live?  I live in Sarasota.  Where are you having it done?

I am nervous and excited at the same time my date is Dec 18. So It is near.... cant wait for the new me.

Our dates are only one day apart.  There are others having surgery on the 18th; we'll have lots of good company!!
