gas pain attack?

Since late last night I had gotten a gas pain attack. I had to get up move around take tums and my rx to burp and I sort of felt better. Part is my fault. . I had kfc chicken for dinner. . I had it before and didnt have an issue but maybe it was a no no? I was just out with family and had a smalllllll glass of white wine. I still felt blah all day but nothing really. We got to the bar and I felt an 'attack' brewing. Usually I can burp it out and it gets better. Well I couldn't and I almost passed out. . Now I had my gallbladder removed in march so it isnt that. My appendix removed in Aug which I don't think matters anyway. Wth is it? I rushed home took tums so it didn't come back. I feel ok. Still feel I need to burp but I don't want to give in and drink this soda since that helps me burp. . Any ideas or suggestions?
