Topic: How is everyone doing?
Hi December sleevers,
I am now 3 1/2 weeks out, down 36 lbs, off diabetic and hypertension medication. How is everyone else doing?

I'm the same way. I ate beef jerkey two weeks post-op and didn't have a problem with it. 25 pounds lost since surgery Dec. 15. Not bad

VSG December 7, 2011. It's nice to see how the other Dec 7, 2011s are progressing. At this time it's been slow losing for me. I hope it speeds up soon! ~Nann

Hello all. This is the first time I've posted anything. :) I had my surgery about a month ago, and now I'm eating everything. My doctor said it's normal to experiment with hard food eating, but I haven't gone back! I feel like I can eat everything (minus the sugar of course). I haven't had any issues and am still losing weight. Do you think this is ok? Thank you all for your time.
Topic: RE: Here we go
I don't see my surgeon until the 16th - he's out of town this week, and I should go next week but opted for the 16th since I'm off from work that day anyway and don't have to burn a half sick day. This Wednesday I start purees...and I sure hope it changes how I'm feeling. I'm not used to be so *tired* - like I could literally close my eyes right now and be asleep. Yet when I try to go to sleep...I toss and turn restlessly. The last few days I've had some...not pain...I'd call it "discomfort" at my incision areas, especially when I lay down. I can't sleep on my stomach at all, and that's my preferred sleeping position....so I'm not sure if I'm in a vicious cycle or what.
Good luck to y'all!

I was the 20th. Happy new year! How are you all feeling? I see the dr on the 5th. Can't wait to be put on the next step...mushed good.
Topic: RE: No longer having surgery!
Just wanted to touch base with you. I had my surgery on Dec 28th. I am not going to lie and say there was no pain because there was. Luckily mine was mild and never in my belly area it was all in my upper chest from the gas they put in you. I am home with my family now and looking forward to a better new year! If you ever need more info, don't forget I am here! Many blessings to you!
Topic: RE: December 14th....My birthday
This was to be my surgery date as well... Unfortunately, Blood Sugar levels kept me from getting it on the 14th and pushed to the 16th...
It was supposed to be my birthday gift to myself...
How are you guys holding up? I am down 30 lbs in 2 weeks...
