Basically I was told to get off the sodas (which I have) and told to find a protein shake with no carbs and no sugar (Isopure is best) and replace one meal/day with it to get used to it. I go in for pre-op the Monday before the surgery (December 12th) and I'm guessing then is when they give you all the stuff to ingest to clean out your system (ewwww). I'm excited for my new life and my new health.

I have mine scheduled for December 15th too. . . . very excited and KNOW it's the right thing to do. Have you received the required diet prior to surgery?

My official date for surgery is December 21, 2011. I am excited and scared all at once.
