Who is a December 5th sleever?
I have surgery Dec 5th also.
Having mine in Texas with Dr. Smith.
Have to be at the hospital at 6:30, surgery scheduled beginning 8:30 to 10:30, then approx. 90 minutes in recovery.
Just have to make it through today and tomorrow - clear liquid diet - and then get up at 4 am Monday to get ready to go, leave the house at about 5 am to be at the hospital an hour away by 6:30, and remembering to take the emend at 5:30 en route to the hospital.
Please pray my daughter and I get enough sleep Sunday night so we can get up that early on Monday morning and begin the last trek of this side of the journey.
Please pray my daughter gets nothing but good news that day.
Also, please pray my doctor is at his very best that day and that his day goes well, according to plan, and without any trouble at all.
Also, please pray my cats don't miss me too terribly much while I'm gone for a couple of days. It will put a serious kink in their daily routine when I'm not there for them to wake up and remind it is wet food time.

Dear Lord,
Tonight I pray to you asking you for your love, support and protection for these brave followers who have taken a proactive step to manage their health problems by having weight loss surgery. Lord, we pray for the surgeon and his team. We pray you guide their hands to perfection and preciseness. We pray Lord that as the surgeons work on our tummies, you will give us strength to work on our "heads" as we know that surgery only fixes our stomach and we must address our emotional issues to be successful.
Lord we pray complete and total healing over all these patients, Lord over this ENTIRE message board. We pray for "no leaks" and for a quick and speedy recovery. We pray for our families - Lord they mean so much to us and we pray that you help them while we are recuperating. We pray that you give them the comfort that you have total control of this Lord and worrying is just a waste of time and energy.
Father, we stand in Faith knowing that through you ALL things are possible and not only will our surgeries be successful, but we stand in Faith knowing that our JOURNEYS will be equally successful.
