Like you all......going through insurance hoops.....6 months of pre-op diet and all the different testing and such....seemed like a long time...  Actually, I can't believe it's here already.  Like you all, I have mixed emotions.  I'm super excited at the possibility that I will be thin in the near future.  I also have a nervous and anxious feeling.  I'm sure everything will go fine with surgery so I will not think about negatives.  I'm in Florida and having gastric bypass with Dr. John-Paul Gonzalvo.

I have the same surgery date!   From April to July, I had 3 months supervised diet that was required through my surgeon.  BUT, I have had my surgery date since August.  I work in education and since I couldn't get my surgery before I went back to work at the end of summer I had to wait.....and not gain till December (right before Holiday Break).  Luckily, I did get to meet up with my NUT once more to make sure I stay the straight and narrow while I wait for my date to come.

Would love to have a buddy to keep in touch with....
