Topic: RE: Updates on everyone for December??
Wow, upped my activity level in March/April and dropped 10#'s a month!. I'm now at 175, feeling great. I have about 35#'s to go. I signed up for my second 5K, my first was a resounding success, came in under 40 minutes. New goal is 36 minutes. I'm working it big time.

I had lap RNY on 12/9/10. As of this morning I have lost 83.4 lbs. I have a lot more energy. I have been getting in all my protein. 60-100 grams a day. I have been getting in my water. for the most part. I am trying to exercise more but it has been hard. I did about 10 flights of stairs the other day and then I was too sore to do anything for like 3 or 4 days. How do I not over do it on 1 work out so I can work out more?

Surgery 12/08/2010.. Doing great I have trouble getting the protein in some days. I started 06/2010 on my journey to loose weight with the nut weighed 249 pounds. Today I stand here after surgery exercising when I can get it in and I weight 185! Man does it feel good to see myself in these small clothes again in my life!

Still have issues getting in enough protein. Hate shakes, try to get it all from food. Haven't dumped, but did get stuck 2x. Had 2 stalls of 2 weeks apiece ( Weightloss in the midst).
Lose energy in the afternoon, yet to exercise.

Topic: RE: Disappointed in weight loss
Wow. I saw my doctor and he told me I was not on the right track because I had not lost 60 pounds in three months. I have been working out like crazy and counting calories. I think you are on the right track. This information helps me. I had my surgery on 12/16 and I feel in the same boat.
Topic: RE: Stalled - gastric sleeve on 12/29/10
That is exactly what happened to me. I think the stall has passed as I lost 2 pounds last week. My hope is to lose another 2 this week. Funny how the stall really gets you down.
I honestly thought I was a weight loss failure and decided to eat some junk.....wrong move, luckily I still lost two pounds and am back on the wagon.
I guess my old bad habits are still there and I need to watch them. For me, going back to basics was important. Protein shakes and staying away from refined carbs.
Hang in, everyone is right, it will pass.
Good luck!!
