I received the call from my surgeon's office yesterday- one day after my 40th birthday. I am so excited to have surgery. This is going to be the best (and most difficult) thing I have ever done for myself. YEEE HAWW!!!!

I know exactly what you mean! I have surgery on Dec. 22nd and I am equally excited/terrified.

Hey ladies: I am having RNY on the 21st as well. I have read and researched so much. I was told to lose 30lbs, before and I have lost 24. I am way excited but getting a little anxious too. I just want to do this right. This website is pretty cool. Good luck to you both.

I see that you are having your surgery 12/7. I am having mine on 12/21! I am way excited and scared too. I have read and researched so much. I just want to do this right. I was told to try and lose 30lbs. before surgery and I have lost 24. How are things going for you? Do you feel prepared?
