Hi. I am also having surgery on December 10th in Rhode Island. I feel the same way - nervous, excited, scared, wondering if I'm doing the right thing. I just keep picturing myself just like the "losers" I've met at the local support group. They are a good looking, energetic, and healthy group. Can't wait to join in.

I am on my 2nd day and have such a headache! It will be worth it but this is really hard! Can you have anything other then the shakes? My surgeon wants me to have only 5 shakes a day; that is it.

Thanks Jeff! Good luck to you on your day! Iresheis will for sure stay in touch! Nice to have someone to talk to that understands...I thought i was going to kill my boyfriend last night!!!! Oh well I discovered chicken bullion broth...its almost like real food! I like the way to look at it as a GIFT to ourselves....nice one Iresheis!!!

I have no suggestions other than to say you're right, it's hard. I'm on day 7 and have 6 more to go! I can't stand the taste in my mouth, it's awful!!! It will all be worth it in a few weeks when we're post-op!
