Lap Band Surgery is 12/28/09-liquids start 12/21
I'm a little bummed about Christmas and having broth instead of xmas dinner, but I figure I had xmas dinner for 40 years, so missing one time won't hurt :) I'm so excited and nervous at the same time.

I've been on prednisone and chemo for over 7.5 years. Gained over 160 pounds due to pred. Highest wt. 410. Surgery wt. 365. Current wt. 299

are you getting excited???? I know I am :) The first day of liquids wasn't all that bad. When I was physically hungry I took a can of soup and strained the veggies etc out. It was yummy and warm.

i am having lap band surgery on the same date!! i started my preop diet on monday it was the hardest day!! today wasnt so bad i just had a headache most of the day yesterday and felt hungry. but better today i wasnt that hungry at all and when i weighed myself this morning i lost 5 pounds. best of luck to you too on surgery day!!!
