Scheduled for VSG, I am so excited and just a bit nervous. It will be here before I know it.

Yeah Deborah!!  I believe you will be amazed at how fast the time will go - and how fast you'll heal and be back to weight that you are comfortable with and that feels good.  I'll be here in Oregon rooting for you on the 9th, and always!

How are you doing? I keep meaning to send you an email. I start liquids the day after Thanksgiving. Keep me posted your progress (two weeks post-op right?)

Deborah I'm scheduled for the 9th too and start my liquid diet the day after Thanksgiving. I thought that was great until my family decided to postpone dinner until Saturday.

I'm getting the VSG too!

Stacie, that is great. We will have to keep in touch as surgery sisters. I was so happy when my Dr. said I could start liquids after thanksgiving but I can only have a small meal which is better than none.  You should have your own personal Thanksgiving.

Deborah my doctors  PA called to schedule my preop bloodwork and stuff for Monday and I told her about Thanksgiving on Saturday and she said to go ahead and eat it.

I can't believe its coming so QUICK! I keep thinking since I'm Dec 9th that my new sign will be Sagittarius

How many days will you be int he hospital afterwards? They told me I may be out on Friday but probably Saturday morning.

I am a Redskins fan, but don't tell anyone (they are not doing so well).

I am married to an Eagles fan and my best friend loves the Cowboys so I won't hold it against you.

I am going for my pre-op bloodwork on Wed. Dec. 2nd.

I will be in about 2 days. So, Lord willing everything goes well I should be home Friday afternoon.

congratulations!!!  I am soo excited my RNY is scheduled for Dec 9th,  we are starting our new life at the same time.  I am on my pre-op diet now.  Doing ok.  Thinking about food some but staying focused.  How are you doing.  Are you on a pre-op diet yet?  Nervous?
