thanks everyone.  I am watching my drinking and still getting in 100 oz a day now. I am watching my protein and tracking daily.  I have an appt. with the Nut to discuss this.  I'll let you know what happens.

Down 60 lbs.  Weight loss is slowing the last few weeks, but there are so many things I can do better.  I need to work on the following that I am stinking at currently:
- exercising
- getting my protein
- getting my fluids - i was also drinking crystal light iced tea until someone just today pointed out that they have caffeine, so I guess I will re-evaluate that.  Darn!
- getting enough sleep
- taking my vitamins
- creating a schedule for eating/drinking/vitamins.  I think that will help me.

Wow, that's just about everything!  Oh well, at least i know how to improve.  I really need to make the most of this weight loss window that i feel slipping through my fingers.

How did I get here?  And how do I get down off this silly plateau?  I've read Kaye Bailey's Five Day Pouch Test, but I'd rather just push a magic button or something.  I've been exercising my a** off.  Waa!  Waa!

Hi, I am a newbie and never checked in here before.  I had RNY on December 8th and I am doing great.  Down 84 pounds from my consult, at which I weighed 377 pounds.  I will check in often and wish you all the Best of Luck!  We are truly blessed.  I am donating cloths like there is no tomorrow.  Between my wife (Surgery date 10/22/08) and myself we have sent out 7 garbage bags of clothing.  We have plenty of closet space now.  We are sleeping like babies, I can't remember getting up in the morning and feeling like I can just start the day and not feel tired.  I'm so glad we did this.

I am down 70 pounds since surgery.

I've had two major wow moments. The first was finding out that I can wear a misses XL tank. Down from a 3X.. Only problem is my boobs are not leaving and those are obviously made for people who are flat-chested.

Second: I went to my PCP a few weeks ago for the first time since the surgery and when they put my weight in, the computer popped-up saying it was 15% below where it was before. They thought they had pulled up the wrong chart :) Very awesome moment.

I had my surgery on Dec 2...4 Months out today and so far I have lost 71 pounds and only 39 from my goal weight. However I am stuck it seems like...I have found that working out isn't as easy to stay on top of anymore and I am just a little scared that I will end up gaining and going through all of this for nothing...Then again just when I really start to get scared the scales seems to drop a little ...

Over the last month I had noticed that I had an increase in hunger. But for me it was a a hydration issue, that I never payed attention to. I am glad I did now. Because for a while I couldn't wait for it to be time to eat or snack. Ugh!

Sorry I am not much help! But hang in there! Just remember to measure what you eat, that way you don't over eat.

Good luck!
