I am on this 800 calorie diet a day. The first week, I was so motivated and cleaning and doing great.
This week- I am very, very, tired. And Moody--- I am due to have surgery on Tuesday.

I just received my surgery date and it is 12/31/08 !!! Anyone else taking the leap this month??? Would love to share experiences with you.

Congratulations Tom! I think of all the things that surprised me, the GAS! OMG I must have done 50 laps trying to get that going

How are things today?? Did you get everything taken care of yet? LOL Im laughing because I have put almost EVERYTHING off until this weekend...what was I thinking??

Oh, I hear you about the emotional stuff! I cried today over a childs book, and yesterday I cried several times for...I don't know...because my walls are painted blue? WHO KNOWS! 
I don't know if I already told you this, or if you Doctor has said anything, but mine told me that a LOT of patients freak out after surgery because we wont even be able to drink much. But it's NORMAL...our new pouches will be so swollen and angry at us..but it WILL get better!
My little girl will be with her dad and step mom, and my two foster teens will be with there family for a few days..(Which is bitter sweet, I want them to have a GOOD Christmas, and if something happens while they are there, I wont be my normal self...But this Momma will STILL take care of it..lol) And hubby is a complete mess. He is trying SO hard to keep things "normal". Poor guy.
I think you and i will be just FINE, and eventually we will be so happy that we did this! It just may take awhile!
