Julie,
I am doing better, thank you for asking. I still tire easily .My surgery went well, the doctors and nurses were very impressed with how good I did.
Did your surgeon give you a spirometer for breathing exercises? If he did use it, everyday and anytime you think about it. It strengthens your lungs and prevents pneumonia.
Remember to walk a lot after surgery and sip, sip, sip!!! Pm me anytime!!! Good luck with your surgery, I will be saying a prayer for you!
hugs ,

My life is like McDonalds....I'm Lovin It
I am suprised that they are making you maintain it, that sucks. The nurses were monitoring mine, and took mine out on my discharge from the hospital. The removal of the Drain was probably one of the worst feelings ever - not to scare anyone, but it feels very strange as the tubing slides out :( Brace yourselves when you have to have it done!
Thanks for sharing your tummy goings-on with me. I hope things settle down soon.
I had my first dump today I think. I had a yogurt with 14 g of sugar, and felt sweaty and a slight racey heart for about an hour after. The yogurts I've had previously have had around 8 grams, and I've had no issue. Trial and error I guess, but that was not a nice feeling! No puking though, so that's good. Puking this early on, still having the pains and soreness of the muscles would not be good!

I have the rumblies too. It is like there is a very serious storm going on in my stomach. Especially when I take a sip of water. It is like as soon as I sip the water, I can feel it go down and the rumbling or bubbling sensation/noise starts. I was kinda concerned about this, so I am glad I am not the only one who is experiencing it.
