Hi..i just had surgery on dec 10th and i am still on the pureed stage..i was on the fullliquid for 2 wks then im supposed to be on the pureed for 2wks then the soft food stage for 3 wks..wht does ur surgeon suggest or what stage are you on? what are u eating?thanks

I lost 18 pounds the first week but now i am stalled...i havent lost a pound since then...i hear you and understand..sometimes i wonder if my doctor did anything in there but that just my negative side...i want to eat food already too.....im tired of pureed..but i know this is temporary..dont worry...you will lose soon!!

I am not happy, Every time I drink I feel like I am chocking.

Yeah! You are the first one I have found! Are you getting nervous? I am ... excited, nervous... just a bundle of emotions. What time is yours scheduled for? I am at 2 pm. Have to be at the hospital at noon. Probably in the hospital for 3 days.
We can compare notes as we go along! Best wishes for a smooth procedure!

My doctor gave me a prescription for a patch to put behind the ear in case I got queasy. I got the prescription filled, but haven't needed to use it yet. You might need to call your doctor and have him call in a prescription for you.
The patch is supposed to last about 3 days.

I was done on 12/9.. am doing pretty well.. sure I don't have my stamina, but I have been out, taking rests while my sister shopped... and sipping my water... I have had about half a scrambled egg (yolk and white separated, just in case)... a little cottage cheese (easier on my baby pouch than the egg), and some plain yogurt (also easier on "Babe" than the egg)...
I surely am not geting all my protein - am using bullets but am waiting for a refill order! - but I AM getting vitamins and calcium in..
