Hey ms JJ,
I am so happy for you....I know you were really excited about getting those stiches out! That's great that your Doctor is happy with your progress. Sounds like you're doing fine. Just keep your eye on the target and you'll continue to do well. Talk to you soon, Rob

Topic: RE: Dec 8th Patients...How you all doin??
i had my surgert dec 11, lots of complications. came back to winnipeg on the 18th and was admitted here till jan 1. i am eating new things , some i can tolerate some i cant. i have lost 24 lbs. I have no energy, get very dizzy. but i still have my staples and tube from stomach. not sure what will be done . my incision on the inside is open a bit. there is a gap between my new stomach and old one and things pass threw to each other. going back to the surgeon here on the 9 of jan to see if they have to operate to close the gap. i wish i had never done this. i begged them to reverse it if they do have to operate. they say they cant. guess see what happens on the 9th
Topic: RE: Lap Banders - how long til you went back to work?
My surgery is on Tuesday - just a bit behind you. I am certain that I will be VERY tired of liquids and I am just starting - oh well. I am trying to distract myself from food entirely because I am pretty hungry on shakes! But it is great seeing a few pounds come off - my body already feels more comfortable and my pants are not as tight! (I couldn't admit to myself size 20, so squeezing into 18s). Let me know what pureed foods you enjoy when you get there!
Topic: RE: Challenges so far?
This was a very useful suggestion. I have a 3-minute egg timer that would be helpful - I'll pull it out of the cupboard! Thank you.

I went back to work in exactly 1 week. I had my surgery 12/22 and went back to work 12/29....I was a little tired, but no regrets.
