that is where you need to go for recipes. Almost anything you want she has a Low fat/sugar/carb recipe for it. I can't really eat chicken or turkey but I can do a meatball, italian (turkey)sausage and other meats like that. The are mostly processed and not so hard to digest. I have problems with eggs too. I can keep them down but they no longer taste good to me. have you tried tuna with some light mayo, spices or mustard? I can do that too.

I know this sounds weird, but it true. I am so frustrated with my food choices, that I either don't eat or I eat cereal and stay in bed.  I thought that after being a month out, eating would be easier. But my stomach is even more picky.
Example: it took me all day to eat a turkey wing; which was cut in half. I ended up  because it got stuck. I chewed and chewed but still it wouldn't go down.  I had to wait about  2 hours to try again.  Y'all I really wanted my meat. I miss meat so much. Finally on the second go at it. It stayed down.
It is is always like this when I get meat.

I'm trying to stay away from bread and rice and potato's
The were my friends and now I have to break the friendship.  It is so hard to learn what to eat now and how to prepare a new menu.
I am soul food junky and carbs are my crack.
I get so frustrated, I eat shredded wheat with silk milk, just about every day. .........I don't know what to do (well, yes I do)
I need to learn new habits but how and where do I start.
Maybe and recipe book?

Sometimes you "choose the pasta, potato or toast".. see I haven't tried any of these.. maybe I am just being a chicken or maybe it is best I don't even consider them.

I lost just one pound last week.  That's a little frustrating, but it makes me feel better to absolutely KNOW that it wasn't something I did to cause it.

Don't try that kind of stuff.  My NUT's materials say to particularly avoid crunchy snack foods because they go down easily and are packed with empty calories; just because you can eat them doesn't mean you should.

If you're going to eat very small quantities, it makes sense that you would choose the most healthful foods available, and none of the listed items fits the bill.  That said, I'm allowed one ounce of 'starch' foods each day, and of that range of foods, I will sometimes choose pasta or potato or toast when I know I shouldn't.

Some things I find I'm okay with that give me the crunch I want are melba toast and celery.

Am I the only person not trying this kind of stuff?

I am in no way putting any of you down that are, but in all honesty are we supposed to be eating that kind of stuff? I don't have a nut so I am doing this kinda on my own but I thought we were supposed to avoid those kinds of foods.

Help, I am so confused!

Same for me. I have "only" lost 33lbs  but people are noticing.  My face is thinner too and losing a bit of the double chin.  I am still wearing all my old clothes, but cinching the belt tighter.  I won't spend money on clothes until I am down significantly.

I had no idea all you guys were trying it already.  Wow, I've got to be more experimental.  Seriously, I was thinking maybe in the Spring. I will have some pizza this week and post afterwards.

Shrinking is so much fun, isn't it?  I'm down 2-3 sizes and it's so exciting! I swear my fat has shifted though. Some of my pants that are smaller don't fit the way I remember them. (10 yrs ago) I suppose, 80 pounds heavier at one point and two kids, stuff moves around.    I feel like I'm losing slower too, surgery 8 weeks ago and have lost 33, but people are noticing - YEA!!!
