That is a great amount of weight to lose in a little over 2 months so do not even stress out about things...I had surgery 5 days after you and have lost 52 lbs since the 5th (started liquid diet)...I have my days when the scale plays tricks on me and because of that I decided to weigh in less often...Try to not over indulge with the junk...I have a few chip here and there, but other than that I am good...Try to eat more fruits and veggies as a snack if you do not feel like proteins...Eggface website is good and I also use a weigh****chers cookbook.

Oh I hear I am there with you... I've lost 28 lbs (since 12/19) and now I am going up and down with the same 3 lbs - have been for weeks. I have two small boys, you can imagine what they want to eat -- hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fries and so on... I've tasted them. It's hard to resist all that fattening, calorie ridden food.
That being said, I've been going to Eggfaces blog and using her recipes...

She has some delicious ones up there, tonight we're having her melted roll-ups... It gives me something yummy and different to eat.

Meet the Surgeon Aug 1, 2011 .... hopefully the surgeons office is right and everything will go fast and I'll have surgery later this month.

Hello all,
I had rny on 12-10-08 and had lost about 45 pounds. I went to the doctor today and t seems that I have gained about 3 pounds.I am so pissed at myself and I am scared that I will this and I have done with eveything else. My protien intake hasn't been the greatest so i need to work on that. My family is big on junk food and stuff, so I have taken a few bites of things I know I shouldn't have. I don't want to fail because my family is kind of expecting me to and didn't think is needed the surgery in the first place. What is every eating at this stage? ineed ideas so I can cook more and maybe my family will at least cut back on junk. Any ideas or thought will be appreciated.

Topic: RE: Incision Pain?
that's great news. Even 10 weeks out I still question so many things and wonder if I am "normal"!! I guess I am (although my husband begs to differ!).
He had surgery 1 year ago and it is like we had 2 different surgeries. Everything I am going through he didn't go through at all, and vice versa so I am really glad to have this site for support.

I saw him today. No infection!
He said it looks fine. I've increased my activity recently -- he says it's normal for the muscles to pull as a result.
Thanks for the support!

Hi,
I'm hoping you feel better now. What did the doctor say? Do you have any infection?
Sometime this forum gets slow. You can go on the surgical forum for RNY gastric bypass and ask questions too. I go back and forth because as time passes, I notice the date forums get slower.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

December 17 surgery.... and I've lost 63 pounds! I'm so happy I did this, and wish I had done it LONG AGO!

I am down a total of 45. I think that I have lost slowly because I was only drinking my protein and not eating. I wish you all the very best.
Have a great day!!!!
