I have less than a month to go before my one year surgiversary... I have 16 pounds before I reach my dr set goal weight and  I have been at the same weight for like 3 months...I have also been eatting almost what ever I want...I hope I can get the weight down my lowest was 155.8 now I'm at 160.2.  Does anyone know how to lose 16 lbs in 30 days at this late stage...I know its a piece of cake in the beginning...

I'm with you.  9 pounds to go until my goal of 180, but I'd actually like to get to  around 170. I'm still a 16 pants would like to be a 12 ultimately.

Congrats to you on making the 11 month mark and being so close to goal! Here are 2 main things that helped me get to goal:
1. protein intake of 125g per day
2. cardio + resistance training 5 days per week

I also bought a body analyzer scale at Best Buy that reads my fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass, and water content, so I can immediately tell where I need to make adjustments.

Here's to seeing you make your goal next month!

Congrats and good luck on the last 16.  I don't know if losing 16 pounds in 30 days is feasable at this point.  But you can get back on track by going back to the basics.  Keep your protein up, exercise daily, journal, journal, journal - you would be surprised what happens when you make yourself accountable to yourself for awhile.  And keep the liquids going in.  You will continue to lose weight but it definitely is alot slower now.

I hope you get there but if not, you have done one amazing job!

Hey ladies..thanks so much for you responses. I am now at 154.2  So i now have a little more than10 lbs to loose.  I used a combination of all of you guys advice.  One thing I must say oddly has helped (why I don't really know) is taking Omega 3 pills.  Most of the time with the exception of today (PMS) when I took it I wasn't as hungry and couldn't eat as much.  Even when I thought I messed up a bit I still lost weight.  I usually take it on the evening,

I too have some weight to lose before my 1 yr visit.  I want to be down 14lbs.  I don't have my visit until Jan 19th, 2010 though.  I get a bit more time.  My dr didn't think I would go below 200lbs due to my age and size etc.  Well, I did and I am wearing a size 6 pair of jeans today.  I am way past his goal but am 14lbs from my goal.  Yipee!
Good luck to all and a huge congrats to everyone!
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.
