Now what I need to go with this weight loss is some of your sex appeal.  Hubby would just love that.  You look great!

Congrats Sandy!  You know I've been cheering for you!  I'm so glad that you've made it to that huge milestone, and there's no stopping you now from reaching the rest of your goals too.  I am dealing with a bit of a stall at the moment myself, I think from having too much of a fill in my band the last time I went in.  I probably should've gone back in and asked for an unfill, but I didn't, so now I can eat so little that I think my body has gone into starvation mode and just refuses to lose anything!  I am only eating a couple of bites of food at lunch and at dinner and I'm still exercising at least 3 - 4 times a week, but no real losses in the last 2 - 3 weeks.  I'm going in to see Dr. Miles next Thursday, so if I am still stalled, I'll talk to him about it then and see what he recommends.  Do you have any suggestions for getting past a stall (other than the fact that I probably need a bit of an unfill).  Thanks, and congrats again!!!

wow.  I don't know much about stalls with the band.  If you were rny I would say up your protein and water.  Have you tried any protein drinks?  I use EAS Myoplex chocolate fudge.  It has 42 gms of protein and I have it for breakfast.  It has 300 calories.  It fills me up through out the morning because I can't drink it all at once.  It has calories enough so that I don't go into starvation mode and the protein is great if you are working out.  If that isn't your idea of a feasible breakfast, maybe you should post on the lap band forum and see if any one with experience can help  you.  Good luck.
I also had an appt with Dr Miles next Thursday but I had to reschedule.  I am now going in on July 2nd.  It would have been funny if I had meet you there.

Thnks Julie.  I feel great.  My only regret is that I did not do this earlier.  For some reason I thought that it was too extreme.  It took my health getting worse before I made the decision to do it.  What a shame.  I could have had a lot more years of feeling good.  But, I did it now and I will enjoy the years to come.  Thank you by the way.  How are things with you?
