Anyone else having a tough time with chicken?

So it seems I can eat a chicken cutlet or a chicken patty, but if I have rotisserie style or roasted chicken, I dump.  It's the only thing I've ever dumped on. Anyone else have this problem?  I know, I know, the chicken has to be moist, but I still dump.  It's a shame because I used to love roast chicken.

It is my understanding true dumping is caused by sugar. Could it be a marinade or something on the chicken?
I dump on a lot of things but never chicken. I do have issues with getting chicken stuck though and that sucks!

I generally don't dump on sugar. Kinda wish I did so there wouldn't be temptation to cheat.  But for example, I've sampled brownies or other desserts in these 3 months since RNY and haven't dumped.  As for marinade - once there was gravy on the chicken. Maybe it was that.

When you say dump, what do you mean? You're not talking about that heavy chest feeling, like it's stuck, right?  For me "dump" is my stomach gets pukey feeling, but I don't throw up and I get sort of hot and sweaty. It's only happened two times, and both with yogurt.

I've had good luck with rotisserie chicken and chicken made in a crockpot with just a can of Campbells onion soup. Will probably never try canned chicken again, as that was the first food that got stuck for me.

Sucks when you have issues with good proteins and stuff you like to eat. I hope you find a way to eat it down the road.

I can't seem to keep any type of chicken down.. I was able to have a few spoonfuls of chicken salad over 20 minutes, but it didn't sit well with me.. so i am going to lay off trying chicken for a while..

When I met with my Nut. she said many, many people have problems with chicken after surgery.  While it's low in calories/fat, it's a very dense protein.  I have trouble with it from time to time.

Wow that sucks that you have a problem with chicken i love chicken too. Fortunately i haven't had a problem with pretty much any food. The bright side is they say even if it doesn't sit well now you can try it again and be ok so i hope that happens for you.

I can tolerate only small amounts of chicken. I cannot eat canned chicken or chicken breast. I have not eaten roast chicken. The only chicken I have done well with is chicken nuggets with the breading peeled off. I love chicken and miss it a lot. I do well with ground meat though. I can eat a hamburger (very small one)or lean Italian sausage. I can do lean hotdogs. I live off of beans.
