2 Month Update w/ Comparison Pic
Hard to believe 2 months has cruised on by already!
I put the morning of surgery pic up next to my 2 month pic last night and my initial reaction was "wow, was I really that big?". Seriously, I don't think I really ever saw it. I mean, I knew obviously because of my size 24 pants, but I don't think I understood how "puffy" I was. ugh!
So things that happened this past month:
*I realized my kids clean off my plate now vs. me cleaning off their plate! (not at every meal, but it did happen and I was like WOW, what a turn of events)
*I bought a size Large shirt and size 18 pants on the 75% off rack at Macy's last week and cried tears of joy in the dressing room! That moment was when I finally SAW my progress.
*I had an outdoor event to go to with my oldest son and I went to put my snowpants on & they were way too big!!! yippeee!
*At said outdoor event, I spent 5 hours outside participating in snow races, etc. and had a blast with my son! I got a little winded but nothing like before. And it reminded me that I was ALIVE!!!
*I'm officially down 40 pounds.
*My blood sugar has been in the normal range! WOOT!!! Cannot wait for my A1C re-check next month to see how the number is.
*My mom said she better be careful or I'll be shopping from her closet pretty soon. (she's a size 10)
*My sister said "I can tell your losing weight in your mid-section because your boobs are sticking out!" - LMAO!!! (I'm not telling her about the LB Balconette bra's! haha)
And I'm sure there are many more that I'm not recalling right this moment, but it's been a fun ride this past month.
I still find that I'm not hungry most of the time so sometimes I forget to eat and that is so odd to me and I always thought you were all crazy when you'd say that, but dang, it's true!
So, onto the pics. First one is surgery morning. Second one was last night, 2 months.

You look fantastic!! What an amazing transformation!! You keep up the great work!
I, too, was in a size 24 n surgery day. I don't think I'm anywhere near an 18 yet, but I'm getting there! I KNOW I'm not in a large top! LOL Still too much going on up there for a large!
By the way.. I simply LOVE your haircut! That is so cute! Do you have vey thick hair? Mine is super duper fine and bone straight. Makes it tough to find a good style that's easy to take care of!
