Ok.. seriously.. I"m still laughing here.  Tom, you're too funny!!  Just think of those gargantuan panties in Deuce Bigolo Male Gigolo.. I'm pretty sure that was the movie anyhow.

Glad I got a good laugh today.  Sorry for the TMI up there!  lol

That's a GREAT wow moment! I'll have to take note next time I climb quite a few stairs if I'm winded, or less winded than before surgery.  When a meeting was on an upper floor at work, I would always head that direction 5 minutes early so I could get up the stairs and into a bathroom to huff and puff and calm my breathing down. Going straight to a conference room right after the stairs, I would be SO humiliated.  Congrats!!

I think a big part of it is the weight loss, but a bigger part is the regular exercise I'm doing.  My  lungs actually get to fill with air now!!  It truly was a great feeling.  I imagine that you'll notice a difference, too, if you're looking for it.  I was so surpised!

I see you are doing GREAT on your loss!!  Keep up the amazing work!  I so love getting to hear about everyone's successes!!!

I started doing the treadmill 6 days a week 2 weeks ago and have noticed a definate increase in energy, which is such a change from my first 7 weeks post op.  I haven't weighed myself since Feb 1 and am itching for Feb 28th to come around so I can see how much more I've lost.  I hasn't been too hard staying off the scale, but boy am I curious.

I had forgotten that you committed to staying off the scale for the month!  I am SO proud of you!  I know that I could not do it!  It has become my way of starting the day and my own mental reminder to make sure I make good choices during the day.  I haven't gotten too discouraged when I see a gain.. usually that's my sign that my friend is going to visit!  lol

I can't wait to hear your update on Saturday!  Maybe we should start a net poll!!  lol  I bet you're going to be ecstatic!  Be sure to post your results as soon as you know them.  We'll all celebrate with you!

Thats great... isn't it nice to be able to climb the stairs again.  Me, I am excited that I went down 2 ring sizes, I had to buy a temporary replacement for my wedding rings since they kept falling off. I went from a size 7 ring to a size 5...

Meet the Surgeon Aug 1, 2011 .... hopefully the surgeons office is right and everything will go fast and I'll have surgery later this month.
