My first mini-wow moment!!!

So I get up at 6 am today... Saturday.. to be a good teacher and attend an in-service to improve my teaching practice!  UGH!!  Anyhow... I go to the facility where the course was being offered and enter the building.  I am asked to ascend about 8 stairs to the first floor and sign in.  I manage to complete this small task!!  LOL

Then.. much to my horror.. I'm told that I will need to climb two full flights of stairs to the area where the "introductions" is being held.  TWO flights!  OMG  I begin the ascent wondering when I'll need to stop for air.  Suddenly.. I realize I'm on the third floor and I am NOT...  hear that.. NOT winded at all!!  I manage to even being a conversation with another educator at the top and NOT have to gasp for air!

I will say that I transversed these flights of stairs three more times throughout the day!!  I was ecsatic!  Right now.. it truly brings tears to my eyes thinking what I've already accomplished in just 9 1/2 short weeks!!  This completely rocks!  It is my first little step to the rest of my life!!  I am SO glad to finally be on this journey to the new and improved me!!!

Just wanted to share.. thanks so much for listening!

You go girl! That is so awesome :) My first wow moment happened the other day at Kohl's when I zipped and buttoned a size 14 jean! Yeah, it was tight...but it FIT. I about fainted in the dressing room!

14??? That is freakin' awesome!!!!  I'd like to get down to about a 12 or so.  I don't want to be super skinny.. just healthy!  Those 14's may be a little tight right now, but I bet in a few week's time they'll be fitting you quite perfectly!  I can't believe you're barely 2 months out and down to a 14 already!  I'll admit to a wee bit of jealousy!  LOL

Keep up the great work!

You Jersey boys tend to be "connected" so i doubt anyone will mention it!!  LOL  Actually, Ohio folk are pretty accepting of everyone!  We just love people.  Glad to hear you stopped in for a visit!

I hope you are right!  One of my first mini-goals is to be able to run in the Memphis Turkey Trot when we visit my sister-in-law for Thanksgiving this year.  Got a LOT more to do to be ready for that .. but.. man, oh man... being able to climb those stairs was an amazing feeling!!!!

Hope things are well for you also!

18!  Rock on!! That's awesome.  I haven't tried on any other sizes yet.  My clothes are definitely getting looser.. though I've noticed the biggest change. .in all places.. in my underwear!  They are flippin' huge now!  Too funny!

I'm avoiding trying new sizes on because I'll want to use it as an excuse to buy a whole new wardrobe!!  LOL  And heaven knows I can NOT afford to do that!

I'm so happy for your new size!  Keep up the great work!
