Loose Skin already
I had surgery on 12/29, and so far I have lost about 40lbs. This morning I am getting dressed and I noticed that in a few areas on my body there is loose skin. I honestly did not think that I would have this problem so soon. I am definately going to work out more. Has anyone else noticed that their body is not as tight as it use to be?
Loose skin sucks! I'm about 80 pounds lighter than my all time heaviest and my inner thighs look like elephant skin. That's the worst. My under arms are icky already too, but nothing is as bad as the legs. The boobs took a dive a LONG time ago. Is it possible for the nipple to actually turn under? I swear one day they'll be there. (Forewarned DH before surgery I'll be needing a boob job of some sort & TT at least)

I'm older than some of the other posters at 53 and have always had oily skin. But this surgery plus winter weather has turned my skin dry. My lower legs aren't tight anymore - it's weird to see "old lady skin" on my legs! I almost panicked but I found when i used moisturizer they looked a lot better! I was expecting saggy skin on my upper body and even my abdomen, but the lower legs were never very large. I'm not complaining - they're not really saggy down there, just not tight anymore.
I'm one of those that's gonna need plastic surgery eventually too. I have more than 200 lbs to lose in all, so it's inevitable. I wish I had done this years ago when my skin was more resilient and when I had less weight to lose!
Oh well, good luck and let's all get to exercising!

I had surgery on December 15th and oh my I have loose skin too. My boobs went south a long time ago, but I still wear the same size cup just not as big around. I don't like the hanging skin but it sure beats carrying around all the extra weight. I sort of have had a plan for the extra skin for this summer, capris and mid length shirts to hide the bat wings, I freeze all the time anyway .
