My Drain is finally OUT after my 12/9/08 RNY!!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that my drain is finally out. The surgeon took it out today. My leak is healing and I feel good. I am very grateful I did not need a 2nd surgery to close the leak. It was a pain to wear the drain for almost 8 weeks and have to empty the bulb, have the bulge under my clothes, etc., but it's over now.

So glad to hear that your drain is out.

Glad to hear that it's finally out. I hate the removal process. They tell you that you're not going to feel anything
they lied. I was glad to have it out, but removing it was hell.

Glad you got the drain out. I only had mine a week and I had enough by that time, can't imagine 8 weeks of that thing. Sounds like the best solution compared to another surgery though. Glad you're moving on and feeling good.
