BM's? Kinda gross but gotta know...
I'm about the same. Since we're talking poop, mine are really odd since surgery. Sort of a light yellow, always look the same. Sort of odd looking texture too, kind of billowing or cottony. Anyone else have the same?

Mine seemed to be surrounded by a substance that is as you describe it. Mine are very small compared to before surgery. I agree with the others that is likely because we aren't eating hardly anything.
I think I've also developed a lactose intolerance. I'm testing my theory now because it was SO painful to go and I would vomit with each wave of pain. So... the last two BMs have been okay now that I'm not drinking milk. Looks like I might be on to something!!

I think it's great how after surgery the poo is all fluffy & floaty - sorry but I'm a mom of two young'ins and have to wipe butts all the time so I notice poop. But when mine was fluffy after surgery it cracked me up! Never seen that before.
As far as being normal - if it seems normal to you, then you're normal. If you feel constipated or bloated, then you probably need to add some fiber. Go by how you are feeling.

I had diarrhea almost every day starting two days after surgery to seven days after surgery. The seventh day, I had bloody bm's which caused me to faint on my kitchen floor and put me back in the hospital for two days. It took 3-4 more days (after I added pureed chili into my diet) and I started having more normal BM's. Mostly once a day, but I did skip a day at least once.
