INTRODUCTION: Just noticed this forum

Hi all. I just noticed this forum for surgery dates.  I had the vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) in Dec. It was a rough first couple of weeks, but I am much better now.  I have no regrets.  The weight is falling off.  In fact, I've never in my life lost so much weight in such a short amount of time with so little effort!

I am happily married to the man of my dreams.  We have 2 children-- a son who is a JR @ the Univ. of FL and a daughter who is a SR in high school and FL bound. (Go Gators!)

I started doing my "official" exercise today.  I had been doing short 10 minute walks.  Today, I did a Walk Aerobics DVD for 35 minutes.  It was the equivalent of walking 2 miles and I lived to tell the story (LOL.)

I go back to work next week, so I want to get moving again and establish a more active routine before then.

Just wanted to introduce myself before I start posting

Hi!  Congrats on getting yourself up and moving w/ the exercise. I'm really struggling with that. I've been so drained since surgery.
