Friday I did up my calories since I started phase 2 of the diet (pureed). for lunch I had 1/4 cup crab dip and 3 f/f saltine squares. For dinner I had a hard boiled egg mashed with a bit of light mayo and mustard and 3 more f/f saltine squares. I still had 61 gms of protein in a drink with about 40 oz of water total for the day. I need to up my water but it is hard. I now keep a bottle at my nightstand. I don't know how many calories I ate but I did pretty much okay with it all. I did feel a little increase of my heartbeat with the egg but unless I ate too fast, that doesnt' make sense to me. oh well.... I am not going to weight myself I say. Lets see how long that lasts.

I hear ya!  I have had a few stalls along the way already and I am a month out.  I can only say what has worked for me, you need to look at the big picture...you have lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks.  That is amazing....almost a lb a day. Wowzas.  Your body is probably just in shock.

Could be. I guess I had such high expectations. It is almost like I don't have control. I am doing what I am told to do to the very best of my ability but yet, I am at the mercy of my body. stinks.

AWW im sorry to hear you are in a stall but you know they are definitely normal. And yes definitely up your protein and liquid. You are doing great remember there is nothing else that would have allowed you to lose as much as you have. I suggest  not to weigh all the time so you wont focus on it. Remember you are losing inches when you are at a stall. I may get on once a week if that i decided from the beginning i was not going to drive myself crazy.

My scale has only moved twice since I have been home. RNY 12/22. But, I don't mind. Its not moving up either. I think the inch/weight thing is true too. I put on pair of pants for work yesterday and they were about 2 sizes too big. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my new pouch, so I haven't overly focused on the weight yet. If you are going to the gym that much, I am sure your nexzt drop will be much more significant, so don't get frustrated with it.
Nothing had upset my tummy until yesterday. My doc said he thinks something is stuck on it, and told me to move back to liquids for a few days, and then puree. I am so tired of trying to figure out what I should eat, it actually feels like a relief to do it.
I am also having big trouble with fluids, I am getting more an dmore dehydrated, which makes me more tired, so I don't want to do anything, including drink.
Ugh, this surgery may help me break a food cycle, but I think it created another!
Back to my cup, talk to you all later!

I wish I had taken my measurements before surgery. I did not. I have an idea of my waist size from before, but nothing else. I will measure that today. I know it has gone down. That should make me feel better.

The scale has become my enemy. I will ignore it and focus on keeping to the diet and getting my body moving in all sorts of new ways. Thanks for the input. It is great to hear encouragement when I have run out of it for myself.

I know I should only weigh myself once a week. I tell others the same thing but it is like a sick addiction. I have actually started losing a bit again. I have lost 3 lbs since Friday. I know since surgery I have lost 8 inches off of my waist. That was good to see.

I have been stuck at the same weight for about a week.  I started pureed foods on Tuesday afternoon.  I have been eating pureed chili, clam chowder, scrambled egg with guacamole and salsa, greek yogurt.  I also tried making a fruit smoothie yesterday with kefir.  It's harder to get enough liquids in because of the 1/2 hour before and after a meal of no drinking liquids.

I had a hard boiled egg last night that sat pretty well but the scrambled egg this morning is just yuck. I am not sick but I am not enjoying the after taste and I cannot drink yet. I did rinse but it didn't help. I guess I will put off scrambled egg for a bit. I looked forward to it for so long too. What a disappointment! I want chili now that I see you have had some. that sounds good. Well, I gotta go get my Christmas tree down finally. I have been very lax in doing that. I was still enjoying it.
