Finally had my post op!

I had my post op appt today with my surgeon. I got all my staples out! They were pulling and itching so bad it was wonderful to get them out! I got off my liquid diet and actually get to eat now.
I start taking my calcium today. Also got a script for iron and b-12.
He said I was doing great. Officially down 18 lbs, but I had on a sweatshirt and jeans.. . So including the 8 lbs I gained that 26 lbs down in 2 weeks and 2 days!
I also bought some Isopure zero carb in Grape Frost and Pineapple/Orange/Banana.. YUM!! These are GREAT!
I was going to head home today but we are having freezing drizzle, so will be headed home 1st thing in the am. I can't wait to climb in my own bed again.
I am a very happy camper today!

That is great! I have my appointment Monday and am excited about it. Keep up the good work.   

Rock on wit' yer bad self!     Seriously, that is totally awesome!  Keep rockin' that sippin' and walkin' and you'll be outrunning us all very soon!  I have to wait until the 22nd for my follow-up and I'm anxious for that day to get here.  Started purees yesterday and I'm already wondering how I'm going to manage getting it down for another 12 days!  UGH!  lol

I finally made it home yesterday late afternoon. I have been gone since Dec 15 and it is great to be back in my own home. I was supposed to go home Sat but with the ice I stayed until yesterday. I think I saw at least 50 cars smashed and/or flipped over in the ditches in a 40 mile stretch of interstate. Scarey!

I was going to go back to work today but I was so tired from the drive and then unloading everything. I stayed home today, and my boss told me to take another couple days off. I am out of vacation time but some of my coworkers donated some of theirs to me so I think I am going back Wed or Thur.

I am down 23 lbs now, plus the 8 I gained/lost from the surgery.. wow that is 31 .. only gonna claim the 23 though.
