A Quick Hello!
Oh Girl..today has been ROUGH! I have been having nice little puke fests for about 3 days straight. Something always gets caught! Im learning the hard way on how small everything needs to be now....I feel like I'm in Nutrition Kindergarten! And I am also going to set up an apointment with a nutritionist...I need help! SOOOOOOOOOOOO......are you still in a dead panic about going back to work..or you doing Ok now?
No panic about going back!! The panic was about being told I had to take two more weeks off and not having any lesson plans for a sub! lmao The sub is good.. we figured it out. I think it's going okay with the exception of my homeroom class. (They are doing 9th grade physical science for high school credit.. they are 8th graders) In any case.. the sub doesn't have enough background to really "Teach" it.. so she just has them doing the labs. I don't think they are getting much clarification. Ah well.. only one more week!
What are you eating that's getting caught? I'm having issues with BMs and vomiting each time. It's a great way to start the day. Ya right. Anyhow... are you still on purees? Maybe you need to chop stuff up a little more before you eat it Worth a shot.

Hey...I'm glad you have a good sub...HUGE relief! As far as whats getting stuck...it seems like my pills were and anything bigger than a pea...I just started totally crushing the pills, and Brett "put his foot down" (Whatever...I let him think he is King once in awhile..keeps him happy..lol) and said nothing BUT puree for now....and I hate to admit it, but he is right! I wanted to thank you for even thinking about sending me the information...but take your time and heal first! I know you having a crap time with the hematoma still.....

Okay.. sorry to say but I'm with Brett on this one! You're only three weeks out!! Stay on the flippin' purees for crying out loud!!! I WILL figure this scanner out. I'm a techno idiot, so it'll take some time. :-) I will prevail, though! lol
Okay... visit eggface's site. I used several of her puree recipes. I did the stuffed shells stuffing one. I actually made the stuffed shells for the family and then put a portion or two of the filling in the pan without shells for me and topped with sauce a mozzarella like she does. It was quite yummilicious. The kids ate it up.
If you like chicken... I take one can of chunk chicken, a couple of tbsp of chick peas (garbanzo beans), about 1 tbsp mayo and 1 + tbsp genovese pesto. Blenderize. YUMMO! It's good. The pesto also is made with pine nuts so it has like 4 g protein for 2 tbsp or something. I split that into about 2 servings and it's like 13 g protein each. Good stuff.
