OUR month is ending...

As December comes to an end in 7 1/2 hours, I want to wish each and everyone of you a very Happy New Year.
Seems like it was just yesterday that I anxiously sat up til after midnight on Nov 30 just so I could post it was OUR month!
We have all made it through our surgeries now and are on our way to healthy weights. Congrats to all of us.
I hope we can all stay in touch throughout the year, supporting and motivating each other.

To my January 2009 surgery friends, I am gonna stick with ya and hold your seats on the loser's bench

yeah in 71/2 hrs it will be my month yay!! i will see a on the losers bench on tuesday!! can you belive its pretty much here.i have freakin surgery on tuesday!!!!

I am so excited for you! I am HOPING to be back at work next week but I will still be on OH all day. Please have your aunt let me know how you are doing.

we are both getting surgery the same day but we come home the next day so i will be able to post(thats if the medicine isnt too strong :).....i will def let you know how everything goes and keep ya updated...you make sure you do the same...have fun going back to work!!!

Our month may be ending (and since I'm still recovering I'll iikely be asleep long before the ball drop lol  )  but our lives are really just beginning!  I also want to say thanks to everyone for everything!  Not sure if you saw my post of last night about the overeating situation.. .but I'm not sure what's going on.  I'm much, much better today.  However, I now have a nagging pain just under my left breast when I move a certain way.  I'm hoping it's muscle soreness from vomitting but if it gets worse I'll sure be calling the doctor!  My luck I broke the staple line.  Any ideas what the indications of THAT would be?  

In any case.. I do mean a sincere thank you to everyone!  You're the greatest and have been SO very helpful to me!  Hugs tand congrats o you all! 

As it is said things are done for a reason. I think my surgery having my surgery delayed one month had alterior motives. I have a found a wonderful bunch of support and friends in December. This is always been a special month for me and this makes it even more special.

I feel the same way as Tom, I think that we have also bonded as a group. I know that I will stay in touch because I will need the continued support of my December surgery friends

Very well stated, Ms_jj!    HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!  I can't believe how FAST this month came and went!  Hopefully, to those still in a bit of discomfort, that will pass quickly too.
