Back from the hospital (again!!)

I ended up in the emergency room Monday night, a week after surgery.   I ended up passing quite a bit of blood which caused me to pass out on my kitchen floor.  My doctor said I needed to seek help after passing out.
I was released today, after being in the hospital for two nights,  so I am home again.

The doctor thought I was having problems with hemmoroids combined with using heparin.  The loss of blood caused me to feel light-headed, causing me to pass out.  My cheek has a scrap on it.  My nose was cut in a couple of places.  And, I hurt in more spots than I did before Monday.

At least it is not from anything worse.

Soooo glad you're OK!  The heparin worked a little too well on me too, although I didn't pass out or have to go back.

Keep pushing fluids and get sodium in!  It will all help flush out the old blood & clear up the bruising.

Here's to a healthy 2009!

I am so sorry that you had to go through that!!  My goodness, what a couple of weeks you've had.

You will be in my prayers for continued healing and recovery.  I am sure your cuts and bruises will heal.  Please be careful!

Well, thank goodness that may have been the problem.  I'm so sorry you had to go through that.  Just keep thinking of how good you will feel in a few months, and get your rest and fluids.
